Meet the Staff

Shauna Brophy - Veterinary Technician - Many of you already know Shauna, a long-standing team member of Critter Creek Veterinary Hospital.  She started working in veterinary hospitals in 1990 and has worked around the world as a veterinary technician.  This included places such as; Japan, Germany, Florida and Utah.  Her vast experience brings a new perspective of veterinary medicine to the staff and clients of Critter Creek, reminding us that we are lucky to have many of life's luxuries and conveniences within our reach.  She is always cheerful and helpful while helping clients and patients with some of the daily tasks and problems that arise.  Always thorough and with a knack at solving problems, Shauna's help is always appreciated by all.
Shauna has also found time to stay close to her family, is an avid reader, and play with her animals.  You may be able to catch a glimpse of her dogs Egan, Capri and Davy, on the walls around the hospital.

Gary Delfino - Practice Manager - Veterinary Technician - Gary has spent most of the past 20 years in the veterinary field.  His veterinary career started off in the early 1980's as a kennel attendant at Crystal Springs Veterinary Hospital in San Mateo, California.  Under the tutelage of Dr. Daniel Rose, he honed his technical skills and became the office manager until the hospital was sold in 1991.

Gary eventually moved to Colorado where he spent five years working as the head veterinary technician for Broadway Estates Veterinary Hospital in Littleton.  There here learned about working with exotics and many different disease indigenous to the Rocky Mountains.

In 1999, Gary came back to California and continued his career as a head technician and office manager for a couple of veterinary hospitals in the Sacramento area.  In 2005, Gary to over the roll of practice manager here at Critter Creek Veterinary Hospital.  He find this very exciting and fulfilling position and is set to bring newer and greater things to the hospital.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his two daughters (Ashley and Hailey), and his large plethora of pets that run through their house.
Kristy Gray- RVT - Head Technician - Kristy started working at Critter Creek Veterinary Hospital after graduating as a registered technician from Western Career College in 2002.  As a registered technician, she is our lead technician taking care of daily procedures and the general flow of the hospital.  She is always friendly and patient when handling many different types of pets that enter our hospital.  You can entrust that your pet is receiving the most excellent care and treated with kindness when handled by employees such as Kristy and the other staff members.  We are proud to have Kristy as part of the Critter Creek team, because her experience and outgoing personality are valuable assets.

Kristy enjoys spending her spare time with her family.  Her son, Cody James brings a sparkle to her eyes, and pictures are often seen floating around the hospital.  As you can probably tell, Kristy absolutely loves animals including; one horse and five dogs.  It is amazing to think she has time to enjoy her other hobbies, but she also enjoys riding quads, taking long walks with her family, and is an avid reader.
Janice Lewis - Veterinary Technician - Janice has been working for Dr. Morrow for the past three years.  She is mostly working at Bear River Veterinary Hospital where she enjoys working with the large animal clients.

Janice likes to spend her off time taking cutting horse lessons, playing with her new puppies, and enjoys sewing and repairing hose blankets.  The rest of what little free time she has left, she enjoys spending with her husband and four wonderful children.
  Brandy Tucker - Front Office Manager - Veterinary Technician - Brandy has worked for Dr. Morrow for over 11 years between Critter Creek and Bear River Veterinary Hospitals.  She is the smiling face you will see when you first walk in our door.  Her great sense of humor keeps everyone around the hospital laughing.

She has 2 dogs, a Border Collie named Shelby and a Kelpie named Gertie.  In her spare time she loves riding her horse Ted Nugent on the trails and roping cows.
